NATURE OF WORK

Casualty Insurance Agents exercise their activity in insurance companies. For their part, brokers in casualty insurance operate in brokerage offices. They deal with several insurers. Agents and brokers play an advisory role to the customer. They must offer a quality service through an analysis of needs and good advice, offer the most appropriate insurance product, issue the contract required and provide after-sales service. Meanwhile, the subscriber (this function does not require a practicing certificate) operate in insurance companies. Their duties consist mainly of risk analysis and insurance claims for purposes of acceptance or rejection in relation to the underwriting policies of the insurer.

The lack of manpower in this field is an advantage to graduates who are highly valued and enjoy enviable circumstances once on the labor market.
