PROGRAM GOALS

In a unified world of globalization, the network manager is an essential resource for SMEs and multinationals. The convergence of infrastructure, resulting from the arrival on the market of New Technologies of Information and Communications (NTIC) is now inevitable. They include all modes of communication of information to digital telephony. IP telephony is a good example.

A skilled workforce, trained in both telephony and networking in a technical and practical learning environment, will have the knowledge and skills necessary to meet current and future needs of business communication.

TRAINING GOALS

This curriculum aims to train technologists to practice the profession of multiplatform computer network administrators and technicians who install communications equipment, configure, and support IP telephony solutions. These people work in large companies with their own IT department, or as a consultant to small and medium enterprises. Normally, in a small company, the manager of computer networks will be solely responsible for the proper functioning of the computer network. The larger the company, the greater the affected computer networks team is great, mainly because the network configurations are more complex and extensive. The training also aims to develop the basic principles of data networks (LAN, WAN), TCP / IP model, principles and mechanisms for Quality of Service (QoS) applications and Voice over IP (VoIP) that are IP telephony, video and other applications of interpersonal communication in real time.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

At the end of this program, graduates will be able to deploy effective and safe methods of working with different IT companies spheres. They will have access to different job positions:
  • Network Administrator (maintenance, technical support)
  • Manager or technician in network security
  • Computer Consultant
  • Routing networks specialist
