PROGRAM GOALS

Fashion Marketing is an important part of the Canadian economy and paves the way for a multitude of career opportunities whether that’s buying fashion products, product development, merchandising, sales management, operation or business, planning and sales support.

The program of Fashion Marketing is designed to train technicians specialized in business management or merchandising or product designers. These functions can be exercised according to the trends of the various markets the image of the fashion industry. Training within this course focuses on the development of suitable work, autonomy, interpersonal, leadership, flexibility and the development of professional ethics.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

We ask the students to master the language of the industry. The program structure is such that the student will explore and analyze new ideas, to learn the structure of the merchandising, management and distribution of goods as applied to fashion products and the industry. The program aims to make the student independent in the application functions work related to training (theoretical and practical) received marketing of fashion.

Promote the integration of students in the company according to the orientation chosen career and that, depending on the knowledge and skills demonstrated

Encourage the development of the student in accordance with the needs and requirements within the industry

The holders of the college certificate in fashion marketing will occupy the following positions in different companies.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Those interested in enrolling in this program must have completed a secondary or vocational diploma (DES or DEP) or have training deemed sufficient by the college. Those interested in enrolling in this program must also satisfy the following conditions:
  • Having interrupted his/her studies for at least two consecutive semesters or one academic year.
  • To be covered by an agreement between the College and an employer or a government program.
  • Have completed at least one year of postsecondary education over a period of a year or more.
